What do Swaledale Ponies have to offer you?

Every structure on the property, including the training ring has appropriate planning permission but the business is still not able to continue as a trekking centre, even though it has been run on a very successful basis for two and a half years. It would appear that the Yorkshire Dales National Park are concerned that granting permission for the business may in some way open the way for a residential accommodation on the land, irrespective of the fact that I have not been living at Skeb Skeugh Farm for over 12 months. One of the reasons given for the refusal of the planning application is the intensification of traffic to Skeb Skeugh Farm, however this has been no more than two cars per day during the operation of the trekking centre and no more than is apparently acceptable for agricultural purposes (e.g. customers purchasing eggs may be ten cars per day). In my opinion this indicates prejudice on the part of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and that the Planning Policies and Regulations are unfair and unjust.
